Craftsmanship: Timber and Felt
Polished Timber
Each table features a solid walnut rim, hand-finished to a warm, low-sheen polish. The timber is chosen for its density and colour, which echoes the room's joinery and gives the table a substantial, grounded feel.
Walnut is durable and resists wear from constant use. The low-sheen finish avoids distracting reflections under the room's lighting, and the rim is wide enough to rest forearms comfortably without encroaching on the felt.
Deep Felt
The playing surface is a deep bottle-green felt, tightly stretched and secured to remain smooth and consistent. The felt is soft enough for cards to glide but firm enough to prevent bounce, creating a quiet, controlled surface for every hand.
The felt colour matches the venue's brand palette, reinforcing the heritage-club aesthetic. Regular maintenance keeps the felt clean and free of marks, and it is not a digital screen; it is a tactile, physical surface.
Leather Seating
Chairs are upholstered in deep brown leather, with supportive backs and generous seat depth. They are designed for long sessions, allowing players to remain comfortable and focused without shifting or fatigue.
Leather is chosen for its durability and premium feel. The chairs are not fixed to the floor, allowing flexible arrangement, and seat height is matched to the table height for proper posture.
